Well, after the debacle of having that beautiful, showroom quality white NA sold out from under me, I'm moving on to two other prospects.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! I really like this car because apparently it was owned by the current owner's father for a number of years before the kid decided to sell it. It's been in two accidents though, a hit and run that took out the bumper in 07 and once in 97 that happened before the father and son had the car. I'm going to go look at it tomorrow afternoon with a good friend of mine from work, and try to figure out if I can arrange a PPI from one of my mechanics, but they're only available weekends. Not sure what's gonna happen with that.
!!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! 140k on the chassis, freshly rebuilt engine, guy is asking $3200. I'm not crazy about the car but it's an option. Pretty sure I can do better though.

On the Mustang front, still very little interest. Price is probably too high to move quickly, and I'm just waiting on someone who really wants a manual RWD convertible that isn't a Miata. I'm not sure those people exist, but apparently 2012 me was one of them. Here's to hoping 2012 me shows up with cash.
I'll let you guys know how tomorrow goes.

White one looks like it's been beat to hell, certainly wrecked since no airbags. Has bad news written all over it. Other one looks promising though.

Yeah, I blew him off this weekend cause his car's in rough shape. I'm trying to not just rule something out out of hand though; I passed over a really nice STO (all luxury, no mechanical options package) and when I changed my mind someone else had gotten to it.

just don't settle for a suspect car, lot's of miata's out there no need to get into a worn out mess.
